Pigs at the orchards once again

Headed out once again to the orchards as the pigs had returned, although chances are they never really left. Since the last visit only a few weeks ago, the owners had been successful in tempting the pigs with grain and then managed to apply bait which killed around 30 pigs that were easily found, likely more died elsewhere.

The older and wiser ones it appeared were not that easily convinced to try the meal left and thus they continued to roam and had been spotted on camera a few times.

We managed to take out a smal mob of 5 pigs with a couple of good size amongst the group. Over all the numbers are now well down but we can expect a regular follow up to keep the numbers down.

Couldn’t help but get a pic of this sunrise
